hearing one or multiple voices in your head that are negative, persuasive, or commanding you to do something that isn’t right is a symptom of demonic attack as well as the sudden onset and attack of depression.

Sometimes the depression is severe, sometimes it is very subtle. Feeling like suicide, like life is not worth living, or feelings of hopelessness are a symptom of demonic attack. Feeling like something else is controlling you is a symptom of demonic attack. Feeling like someone or something is pressuring you to do certain acts a symptom of demonic attack. Feeling that something touches you, scratches you, or otherwise attacks you may be a demon!

Deep personality changes and creepy feelings, especially with any kind of phenomena such as scratching sounds, things falling off walls or shelves, religious or spiritual items being moved or changed (incomplete). Thumping noises, remote controls flying across the room, the power cutting off, whining or howling sounds could all indicate spiritual problems. Feeling attacked when others do not see or experience anything happening to them can be a symptom of demonic attack. Last but not least, violent behavior is a symptom of demonic attack. An aversion to prayer or an inability to pray should also be considered as a symptom. Demons also seem to have power and information not native to the human they oppress.

Because, man is a triune being, demons can attack the soul and the flesh. Think as man being a glass of water, a demon can grasp hold of the glass, possess it, but never be in it or own it. So many symptoms and combination of symptoms are possible. It takes a discerning ability of the Spirit. Diseases of the mind such as Schizophrenia, Tourette’s syndrome and various forms of psychosis were once regarded as sure-fire signs that demon incursion was taking place. Many of the people suffering from the above diseases can live active lives while on medication, and may not be “demonized” at all. A person should not rush into an exorcism without much prayer. One may not be necessary. Trying to perform an exorcism where one is not necessary can have serious consequences.
